This page explains how to delete your CANDY POP account and the data linked to it. You can do it yourself inside the app, or ask us by email — you do not need the app installed to make the request.
1. Delete your account inside the app
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- Tap Account → Open.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm once more when asked. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Your name disappears from the leaderboards right away, and you are signed out on every device. The next time the app opens, it starts a new, empty game account.
In app version 1.0.202 or later, the records kept on the device (best score, recent rounds, today / this week / streak, and from 1.1.207 the best score of each mode such as No Time Limit) are deleted with the account. Your other devices on 1.0.202 or later show a notice the next time they open the app and delete their records too. A device signed in with Google or Kakao that has not opened the app for more than 30 days no longer receives this signal: its records stay on it and may be carried into the new game account the app starts there. Uninstalling the app removes them.
2. Ask us by email
If you linked Google or Kakao, send a request to candy-pop@hetero8.com from that email address. We use it to confirm the account is yours — we cannot delete an account we cannot match.
If you never linked an account, or cannot use that address, include your display name and its # tag (shown in Settings → Account) instead. We answer within 30 days.
3. Delete only some of your data, without deleting your account
- Support messages you sent from the app (and any photo attached to them): email candy-pop@hetero8.com with roughly when you sent them and what they said, and we will find and delete them. In app versions that have Settings → Contact, you can also send a "delete request" there — your public ID goes with it automatically, and we delete the messages filed under that ID.
- Nickname: open Settings → Account, clear the nickname field and save. Your entry falls back to the automatically chosen name.
Scores cannot be removed one by one — they are what the leaderboard is made of. Deleting your account (section 1) removes all of them at once.
4. What is deleted

All of the above is a hard delete — the rows are removed, not flagged. If you had linked an account, the email is released, so you can link the same address again later; it starts as a brand-new account with no history.
5. What is kept, and for how long

6. If you never linked Google or Kakao
Since the October 2026 update the app creates a game account automatically, so your scores and display name are kept on our server even if you never signed in. Delete them in the app (section 1), or email us your display name and # tag (section 2). Uninstalling the app does not delete that account.
In earlier versions no account existed unless you signed in. Tickets and settings live only on your device in every version — uninstalling the app removes them.

1. 앱 안에서 직접 삭제하기
- 앱을 열고 설정 으로 갑니다.
- 계정 → 열기 를 누릅니다.
- 계정 삭제 를 누릅니다.
- 한 번 더 묻는 확인에 답하면 됩니다. 삭제는 즉시 이루어지며 되돌릴 수 없습니다.
랭킹에서 곧바로 사라지고, 모든 기기에서 로그아웃됩니다. 앱을 다음에 열면 비어 있는 새 게임 계정으로 시작합니다.
앱 1.0.202 이상에서는 기기에 저장된 기록(BEST · 최근 판 · 오늘/이번 주/연속, 1.1.207 부터는 「시간 무제한」 같은 모드별 최고 기록도)도 계정과 함께 지워집니다. 같은 계정을 쓰던 다른 기기(1.0.202 이상)는 다음에 앱을 열 때 안내가 뜨고 그 기기의 기록이 지워집니다. Google · Kakao 로 로그인한 기기를 30일 넘게 열지 않았다면 이 신호를 받지 못합니다. 그 기기의 기록은 남아, 그 기기에서 새로 시작되는 게임 계정으로 옮겨질 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 함께 사라집니다.
2. 메일로 요청하기
Google · Kakao 계정을 연결하셨다면 그 메일 주소에서 candy-pop@hetero8.com 으로 보내 주십시오. 본인 계정임을 그 주소로 확인합니다 — 대조할 수 없는 계정은 삭제해 드릴 수 없습니다.
계정을 연결한 적이 없거나 그 주소를 쓸 수 없으시면 표시 이름과 # 태그(설정 → 계정에 표시)를 적어 주십시오. 30일 이내에 답변드립니다.
3. 계정을 지우지 않고 일부만 삭제하기
- 문의 내용(앱에서 보내신 글과 첨부 사진): candy-pop@hetero8.com 으로 보내신 때와 내용을 대략 알려 주시면 찾아서 삭제합니다. 설정 → 문의 메뉴가 있는 앱 버전에서는 그 자리에서 "삭제 요청"을 보내셔도 됩니다 — 공개 ID 가 자동으로 함께 가며, 그 ID 로 접수된 문의를 삭제합니다.
- 닉네임: 설정 → 계정에서 닉네임 칸을 비우고 저장하시면 됩니다. 등재 이름이 자동으로 정해진 이름으로 돌아갑니다.
점수는 한 건씩 지울 수 없습니다 — 랭킹을 이루는 것이 점수이기 때문입니다. 계정을 삭제하시면(1항) 한꺼번에 사라집니다.

6. Google · Kakao 계정을 연결한 적이 없다면
2026년 10월 업데이트부터 앱은 게임 계정을 자동으로 만듭니다. 로그인한 적이 없어도 점수와 표시 이름이 회사 서버에 남으므로, 앱 안에서 삭제하시거나(1항) 표시 이름과 # 태그를 적어 메일로 요청해 주십시오(2항). 앱을 삭제하는 것만으로는 그 계정이 지워지지 않습니다.
그 전 버전에서는 로그인하지 않으면 계정이 만들어지지 않았습니다. 티켓 · 설정은 어느 버전에서나 기기 안에만 저장되며 앱을 삭제하면 함께 사라집니다.
